Unisa invites applications from unemployed South African citizens who have completed their qualifications from Unisa, and are eager to start their careers in the following positions:

  1. Position Reference: HAM/10/2025
    • Department: CAES Laboratories and Horticulture Centre

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizen.
  • Completed qualification from UNISA equivalent to NQF level 6 or above.
  • No formal work experience in the field of application.
  • Age: Applicants must be 35 years or younger.
  • Only UNISA graduates may apply.

To succeed in these internships, applicants should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and internet use.
  • Strong interpersonal relations, communication skills, and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to take initiative and work effectively within a team.
  • Strong prioritization, attention to detail, and dedication.
  • A sense of commitment, responsibility, and punctuality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Assumption of Duty: 01 April 2025
  • Stipend: R120,925.00 per annum
  • Closing Date for Applications: 27 February 2025 at 16:00
