Position Overview:

This temporary internship offers an excellent opportunity for you to develop and grow within the Learning & Development field, specifically in the financial services industry. As an intern, you’ll be responsible for delivering impactful learning experiences, enabling individual, team, and business performance.

What You Will Do:

As a Learning & Development Intern at Metropolitan, you will:

  • Deliver learning events and programs aligned with business needs and learning objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end learning experience, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to stay updated on changes in the subject matter.
  • Adapt facilitation techniques to different learning styles and maximize the learning experience for all participants.
  • Provide constructive feedback on learner progress and performance.
  • Contribute to building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in post-learning initiatives to ensure knowledge is effectively embedded.

What You Need to Apply:

To succeed in this internship, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of learning facilitation or tutoring experience (preferred).
  • Education: A degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong facilitation, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective planning and organizational skills.
    • A solid understanding of adult learning principles and the learning lifecycle.
    • Knowledge of business processes, products, and regulations, particularly in the insurance industry.
  • Additional Requirements: A valid driver’s license and the ability to manage learning initiatives effectively.
