This opportunity is specifically designed for graduates and unemployed individuals currently residing in the Breede Valley Municipal area who have completed NQF level 6 or higher qualifications in areas relevant to municipal work.

What is the Internship & WIL Programme?

The Breede Valley Municipality is inviting applications for an Internship & Work Integrated Learning Placement in the Human Resources Management field. Successful applicants will receive work experience within the Municipality, enabling them to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting.

• Duration: 18 months
• Stipend: R6,000.00 per month (Graduate Internship Programme)

Key Requirements

1. Education:
   • Must have an NQF level 6 or higher qualification that is applicable in the municipal environment (Human Resources Management).
   • Candidates who have recently graduated or those seeking work experience in their field are encouraged to apply.
2. Location:

3. General Conditions:

Scope of Work & Duties

The responsibilities during the internship will depend on the applicant’s qualifications and the department they are placed in. Specific tasks will be outlined by the department, and all interns will be required to complete the work integrated learning log sheet to ensure they meet programme requirements.

While the Breede Valley Municipality aims to offer a diverse range of tasks, the availability of space within the departments is limited, so not all qualifications may be accommodated. However, the Municipality will strive to assist as much as possible within the allocated budget.
