The Mopani District Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for Finance Internship Programme 2025.

The Mopani District Municipality is inviting qualified individuals aged between 21 and 35 from Limpopo to apply for their 24-month Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP).

Position Details:

• Title: Municipal Finance Management Intern
• Number of Positions: 8
• Stipend: R100,000 per annum
• Duration: 24-month contract

Requirements:

• A minimum of a three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with majors in Accounting, Economics, or Financial Management.
• Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years old.
• Successful applicants will be required to sign both an employment contract and an internship agreement to ensure full participation in educational and workplace assignments, adhering to the municipality’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and managing budgets.
• Providing revenue and debt collection services.
• Preparing bank reconciliations and managing cash flow.
• Processing payments for goods and services.
• Performing asset barcoding and verification.
• Coordinating acquisition processes and procedures.
• Compiling monthly reports.
