Ardagh Glass (Pty) Ltd is offering exciting apprenticeship opportunities to help young professionals gain valuable skills and workplace experience.

About the Ardagh Glass Apprenticeship Programme

Ardagh Glass aims to enhance the capacity of critical and scarce artisan skills within the organisation while equipping young South Africans with hands-on experience in their respective fields of study. This 36-month fixed-term apprenticeship provides structured training, both in the workplace and at accredited training centres.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will:

• Enter into a 36-month fixed-term workplace experiential training contract.
• Attend accredited training sessions as per the training schedule.
• Comply with workplace conditions and requirements outlined in the contract.
• Perform work relevant to your trade and training programme.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Possess one of the following qualifications:
  • N2-N6 with four subjects, including relevant trade theory.
  • Technical Matric with Mathematics, Science, and relevant trade theory.
  • NCV Level 4 Engineering Certificate with seven subjects, including relevant trade theory.
• Willingness to work shifts.

Added Advantages:

• Basic computer literacy.
• Driver’s Licence (Code EB).
• Relevant work experience.
