Learnership Fields Available

The following fields are available for the learnership programme:

• Electrician
• Auto Electrician
• Fitter
• Millwright
• Instrument Technician
• Boilermaker
• Diesel Mechanic

This programme will offer training and development to help you become a qualified artisan, gaining experience and skills in your chosen field.

Minimum Requirements

To apply for the Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine learnerships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
• Physical Science and Engineering Graphics & Design are advantageous.

These qualifications are essential for building a solid foundation for your training and future career in the mining industry.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in line with Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine’s Recruitment Operating Procedure. Emphasis will be placed on finding individuals who align with the values of the mine.

Additionally, successful candidates must:

• Be medically certified as fit for work according to the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
• Adhere to the Conditions of Employment set by Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine.
