The Gauteng Office of the Premier is launching an exciting opportunity for young South Africans in the 2025 Internship Programme. This initiative is geared towards empowering youth and boosting skills development, especially within Gauteng Province. About the Programme

This two-year internship is designed to give recent graduates hands-on experience in their field of study, complementing their academic achievements. Who Can Apply?

To apply for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old
  • Citizenship: South African citizen
  • Location: Must be a resident of Gauteng Province
  • Qualifications: You must hold at least a National Diploma, BA Degree, BCom, BTech, Honours Degree, or a Master’s Degree in fields like Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences, or Psychology.
  • Status: The programme is open to unemployed graduates who have not participated in a government internship before. It also welcomes students who need experiential training to meet their qualification requirements.
  • Educational Institution: Must have studied or be studying at a recognized South African institution of higher learning.
