Govan Mbeki Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for Finance Management Internship Programme 2025.

Duration: 2 years

Requirements:

• Unemployed graduates in the fields of Accounting, Economics, Management Accounting, and Auditing are invited to apply.
• The Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP)aims to assist municipalities in enhancing their capacity to implement municipal finance reforms, particularly under the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA).
• The internship will provide interns with the necessary skills and knowledge in strategic planning, municipal budgeting, and finance management.
• Successful applicants will be placed within the Budget and Treasury Office and may rotate to other relevant units to gain comprehensive experience.
• Interns will receive a stipend and will be mentored throughout the program.
• Internship Agreement will be signed upon successful selection.

• Detailed CV.
• Copies of Qualifications and Identity Document.
• SAQA Verification is required for applicants with foreign qualifications.
