Great Kei Local Municipality invites South Africa unemployed graduates to apply for Municipal Finance Internship Programme for 2024/2025.

The Great Kei Local Municipality is inviting applications for a 36-month Municipal Finance Management Internship. This opportunity is aimed at highly motivated, results-oriented, suitably qualified, and experienced individuals.

Position Details

• Department: Budget & Treasury Office
• Duration: 36 Months
• Stipend: R100,000.00 per annum

Minimum Requirements

•  Education:
  • Matric (Grade 12) plus a three-year qualification (National Diploma or Degree) in Accountancy, Financial Information Systems, or Information Technology from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge:
  • Sound understanding of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), and Generally Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP).
• Skills:
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
• Additional:
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Location:
  • Preference for unemployed graduates within the Amathole Region.
