Illovo Sugar (South Africa) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2025.

Illovo Sugar (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is currently inviting applications for Graduate Trainee positions across several departments. These positions offer a 24-month contract based at the company’s Head Office in Durban.

Available Positions:

1. SHERQ Trainee
2. HR Trainee
3. Commercial & Supply Chain Trainee
4. Mechanical Engineering Trainee

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

SHERQ Trainee:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Management, Food Science, Risk, or Biotechnology
• South African citizen
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

HR Trainee:

• Completed Post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or relevant
• South African citizen
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Commercial & Supply Chain Trainee:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field
• South African citizen
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Mechanical Engineering Trainee:

• Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
• Relevant BSc or BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
• Experience in maintenance strategies (advantageous)
• South African citizen
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
