MANCOSA invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Finance Internship Programme 2023 / 2024

The intention of the Internship is to give the individual (18-30) with the relevant qualification an opportunity for workplace exposure at Leading Edge Solutions within the ERP – Finance Support department.

The successful graduate will be expected to enter into a 12-month contract. The contract is to be renewed upon successful completion of the 1-year period which is also subject to employers’ discretion.

Main Responsibilities:

• Finding and addressing any discrepancy in accounting modules example variances/imbalances within the ERP system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information & escalate queries as necessary
• Participate in learning opportunities provided by the company
• Support the Finance and Administration department with ad hoc functions which may be necessary when required

Required Education

• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
• Finance related qualification

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit
• Must be able to commit to 12 months

Skills and Competencies:

• MS Office proficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic Knowledge of financial concepts
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
