Medicross Healthcare Group, a trusted name in healthcare, is currently seeking a dynamic and professional Receptionist for our Constantia Park clinic.

Role Summary

As the first point of contact for visitors and patients, the Receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience at the clinic. You will be responsible for managing the complete admissions process, handling queries from various stakeholders, and performing administrative duties to support the clinic’s daily operations.

As a Receptionist at Medicross, you are not only a key part of our team but also a Brand Ambassador. You’ll be expected to deliver the highest level of customer service, focusing on a person-centered approach that reflects our core values: CARE, TRUTH, PARTICIPATION, COMPASSION, and DIGNITY.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing patient admissions and answering related queries.
• Handling administrative tasks such as switchboard operations and billing.
• Providing outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.
• Ensuring smooth and efficient operations in line with our business strategy.

This role requires someone who excels in communication, organization, and customer service, with a passion for healthcare and making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Inherent Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

• Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) is preferable.
• At least 1-2 years of reception experience in a hospital or clinic environment.
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Medical Schemes and their processes is an advantage.
