Omnia is looking for dynamic young, self-motivated candidates to proceed in Learnership for Chemical Operations.  The candidates will be selected to serve the learnership program as described by Government, CHIETA and NAMB.

Responsibilities:

• By working with an experienced coach, the applicants will obtain workplace experience in skills and knowledge relating to Chemical Operation.
• Operational personal will ensure on the job learning supported by structured as well as institutional learning.
• Attendance of all theoretical classes at an accredited provider (Omnia Technical Training Centre).
• Obtain Chemical plant related practical exposure on Omnia Fertilizer Sasolburg site.
• Successful theoretical and practical assessment activities that are required for the final assessment per plant should be supported by an updated POE (Portfolio of Evidence).
• Exposure to all aspects of Chemical Operations will result in obtaining an Occupational Certificate in Chemical Operations qualification.

Requirements:

• Grade 12  with Mathematics, Science and English.
• Medically fit,
• Aage 18 – 26 years old.
