Toyota SA Institute invites unemployed youth to apply for Apprenticeship Programme 2025.

An exciting Apprenticeship Programme is now available in Prospecton, Durban, offering hands-on training in the following disciplines: Millwright, Auto Electrician, and Fitter & Turner.

Programme Overview

• Job Title: Apprenticeship Programme – Millwright / Auto Electrician / Fitter & Turner
• Location: Prospecton, Durban (KwaZulu-Natal)
• Duration: 4 years (contract-based)
• Employment Type: Hourly-paid apprenticeship contract
• Division: Learning & Development – Technical Training Centre

Available Trades & Requirements

Millwright

Minimum Requirements:

• NTC3 in Electrical/Mechanical
• Or Technical Matric with:
  • Pure Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Electrical/Mechanical Trade Theory
  • Technical Drawing / Graphical Design
• Workshop experience (advantageous)

Auto Electrician

Minimum Requirements:

• NTC3 with Auto Electrical Trade Theory
• Or Technical Matric with:
  • Pure Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Auto Electrical Trade Theory
  • Technical Drawing / Graphical Design
• Workshop experience (advantageous)

Fitter & Turner

Minimum Requirements:

• NTC3 Mechanical Trade Theory
• Or Technical Matric with:
  • Pure Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Mechanical Trade Theory
  • Technical Drawing / Graphical Design
• Workshop experience (advantageous)
