The University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting applications for its 2025 Internship Programme. This opportunity is aimed at unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification equivalent to NQF level 6 or above and have no formal work experience in their field of application.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be a UNISA graduate with a qualification equivalent to NQF level 6 or above.
• Should have no formal work experience in the field of application.
• Applicants previously appointed at UNISA or any other organization are not eligible to apply.
• Must be under the age of 35.
• Applicants must submit separate applications for multiple positions.
• The position reference number and UNISA student number must be accurately indicated on the portal.

Competencies Required:

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office 365)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Telephone etiquette
• Ability to work in a team under supervision
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• High level of confidentiality
• Time management skills
• Ability to multitask

Internship Details:

• Duration: 12 Months
• Start Date: 01 March 2025
• Stipend: R120,925.00 per annum
• Closing Date: 14 February 2025 (Applications must be submitted before 16h00)
